Zero Waste Month: Public Outreach & Education at Zero Waste Station Pop-Ups

Race to Zero Waste has used their award-winning Zero Waste Station Pop-Ups at events and public spaces across the San Francisco Bay Area to teach people about how to reduce waste and where their discards go: recycling, compost, and landfill. Through public education and hands-on sorting, they achieve waste diversion on-site, while providing practical knowledge that can be applied at home.

This conversation kicked off our series live from the National Zero Waste Conference, highlighting inspiring community-led efforts in South Florida.
